Measuring very high solubilities is challenging from a materials-handling perspective as such concentrated samples often form gels and are too viscous to filter, making it difficult to determine what is actually dissolved. The response of the HPLC instrument is also generally no longer linear, making calibration challenging. That is why only an upper value could be determined during this test.
