Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Results and discussion

Water solubility
Remarks on result:
other: In water, A-133816.0 hydrolyses nearly completely such that its aqueous solubility could not be determined.
Details on results:
In water, A-133816.0 hydrolyses nearly completely to 2,4 wing acid (A-87681.0) such that its aqueous solubility could not be determined.

Interpretation of results (migrated information): other: Hydrolyes almost completely
In water, A-133816.0 hydrolyses nearly completely such that its aqueous solubility could not be determined.
Executive summary:

During the shake flask testing it was noted - on visual
inspection of the test samples - that the excess material
added to ensure saturation of the samples appeared to have
dissolved.  Analysis of the test samples for A-133816
demonstrated that no test material was present in the
solutions. The samples were also analyed for 2,4-Wing Acid,
a known hydrolysis product of A-133816.  Quantification of
the 2,4-Wing Acid accounted for most of the theoretical
quantity of A-133816 having undergone hydrolysis (ca96%
hydrolysis).

96% of substance hydrolyzes. The water solubility is not
detectable due to the substance completely dissolved.

Also tested for its hydrolysis product 2,4-Wing Acid
