Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Reference
Endpoint:
water solubility
Type of information:
experimental study
Adequacy of study:
key study
Study period:
12 Aug 2016 - 14 Mar 2017
Reliability:
1 (reliable without restriction)
Rationale for reliability incl. deficiencies:
guideline study
Qualifier:
according to guideline
Guideline:
OECD Guideline 105 (Water Solubility)
GLP compliance:
yes (incl. QA statement)
Type of method:
column elution method
Key result
Water solubility:
< 0.15 mg/L
Conc. based on:
test mat.
Loading of aqueous phase:
2.5 g/L
Incubation duration:
2 h
Temp.:
20 °C
pH:
>= 6.4 - <= 6.6
Details on results:
In each determination the water solubility was found to be less than the limit of quanitfication (0.15 mg/L).

Due to the low water solubility, the temperature coefficient of the solubility of the test substance cannot be determined, therefore no further tests at other temperatures were performed in agreement with the guidelines
Conclusions:
The mean water solubility of B331 in water at 20°C was <0.15mg/L

due to the low water solubility, the temperature coefficient of the solubility of the test substance cannot be determined, therefore no further tests at other temperatures were performed in agreement with the guidelines

Description of key information

The water solubility was determined to be less than 0.15 mg/L (limit of quantification by ICP-AES).
