After swallowing, rinse mouth with water. Drink 3-4 glasses of milk or water. Never gove anything by mouth to an unconscious person.
In case of unintentional swallowing of bigger qunatities or if any symptoms occur seek medical advice.

Fire-fighting measures

Suitable exstinguishing agents: CO2, extinguishing powder or water spray. Fight larger fires with water spray or alcohol resistant foam.
Use fir fighting measures that suit the environment.
Protective equipment: Wear self-contained respiratory protective device.
Additional information: Dispose of fire debris and comtaminated fire fighting water in accordance with official regulations.

Avoid contact with skin and eyes.
Vaccum clean contaminated clothing. Do not blow or brush off contamination.
Use skin protection cream.

Breathing equipment: In case of unintentional release of substance, use short term filter device (Filter P2).
If hydrogen chloride is released, use Filter BE P.
Protection of hands: Chemical resistant gloves
The glove material has to be impermeable and resistant to the substance.
When handling the heated product, use heat-resistant gloves.
After use of gloves apply skin-cleaning agents and skin cosmetics.
For undissolved substance the following materials are suitable:
- nitrile rubber, NBR
- butyl rubber, BR
- polychloroprenen rubber, CR
- fluorcarbon rubber, FKM

Eye protection: Use safety glasses or googles.

Stability and reactivity

Thermal decomposition/conditions to be avoided:
No decomposition if used and stored according to specifications.
Avoid thermal decomposition. Do not overheat.

No dangerous reactions known.

In the case of fire or at high temperatures the formation of the follwoing decomposition products is possible:
- carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide
- Hydrogen chloride
- nitrogen oxides

Upon contact with water or humidity foolowing substances are formed:
sodium perchlorate
