Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
The test item was determined to decompose, prior to melting, from a temperature of approximately 215 °C (488 K), at 99.1 to 101.4 kPa. Decomposition was observed both in air and under a nitrogen atmosphere.
Therefore, due to thermal decomposition, the melting temperature cannot be determined for this substance.
Executive summary:

The study was initiated to evaluate the melting temperature of the test item.

However the test item was determined to decompose, prior to melting, from a temperature of approximately 215 °C (488 K), at 99.1 to 101.4 kPa. Decomposition was observed both in air and under a nitrogen atmosphere.

Therefore, due to thermal decomposition, the melting temperature cannot be determined for this substance.
