Executive summary:

The Present study was conducted to determine the Boiling Point of Cyanogen Bromide sponsored by Libor Bachura Vyzkum A Vyroba, Czech Republic at Bioscience Research foundation, India by following OECD 103 and OCSPP 830.7220 guidelines.

The Boiling point of Cyanogen Bromide was determined by capillary tube method in Boiling Point Apparatus. The test substance was filled up to 1 cm into the closed end of the boiling tube and placed into the apparatus provided with heating system containing silicone oil. The string of bubbles stopped and liquid suddenly raised in the capillary tube. The experiment was performed in triplicate and the mean of triplicate readings was reported as boiling point of the test substance was determined to be 61.6°C with 0.25 RSD.
