Executive summary:

N,N’-bis(carboxymethyl)glycine, compound with 2-aminoethanol (1:3) was tested in an experiment to determine vapour pressure according to ASTM D2879 - 97 (Standard Test Method for Vapor Pressure-Temperature Relationship and Initial Decomposition Temperature of Liquids by Isoteniscope). A minor deviation was reported in which a digital electronic pressure gauge was used for pressure measurement in place of a mercury manometer, as stipulated in guideline. However, this is not believed to have affected the final result. Vapour pressure was concluded to be 0.95 hPa at 20 °C.
