TS-ED 532 was tested for a possible inhibition to bacteria, yeast and moulds using spot-on-lawn spectrum test. The follwoing test stratins were used:

Gram-poaitive bacteria: Bacillus cerues 204, B. cereus NCTC2599, Clostridium sporogenes NCIMC1793, CL. sporogenes 1.221, Lactobacillus sake A10, Lb. curvatus NCTC2815, listerai monocytogenes NCTC12426, L. monocytogenes 272.

Gram-negative bacteria: Escherichia coli CRA 109, Pseudomonas fluorescens 3756, Salmonella Typhimurium S29, Yersinia enterocolitica S16.

Yeasts: Hanseniaspora uvarum CBS5074, Rhodotorula mucilaginosa CBS8161, Saccharomyces bayanus H107, S. cerevisiae ATCC9763, S. cerevisiae H78, S. exiguus CBS1514, Zygosachharomyces bailli CRA229, Z. rouxii CBS 1640.

Moulds: Aspergillus niger CBS733.88, A.versicolor CBS108959, Penicillum chrysogenum S138, P. commune ABC118, P. discolor CBS549.95, P. roqueforti S44.
