Endpoint:
water solubility
Type of information:
experimental study
Adequacy of study:
key study
Reliability:
1 (reliable without restriction)
Rationale for reliability incl. deficiencies:
guideline study
Qualifier:
according to guideline
Guideline:
EU Method A.6 (Water Solubility)
Principles of method if other than guideline:
A preliminary test was performed only.
GLP compliance:
yes (incl. QA statement)
Type of method:
other: flask preliminary test
Remarks on result:
completely miscible
Details on results:
The test substance was soluble in > 1000 g/L.
Conclusions:
The water solubility is stated as soluble with demineralized water in each ratio (completely miscible). Dimethyl (dimethoxyphosphinyl)succinate was soluble in > 1000 g/L.
Executive summary:

Based on computations with EPI Suite (V. 4.11) the test item dimethyl (dimethoxyphosphinyl)succinate was expected to be soluble in demineralized water in each ratio. Preliminary tests in ratios 1 :10, 1 :1 and 10 :1 of the test item in demineralized water were performed according to EC Guideline A. 6. The test item dimethyl (dimethoxyphosphinyl)succinate is soluble in demineralized water in each ratio to homogenous solutions (completely miscible). It was soluble in > 1000 g/L.
