Une dérogation à l’obligation d’éssai pour cet effet est utilisée en vertu de l’annexe XI, 2. « Les essais sont techniquement impossibles ». L'étude n'a pas besoin d'être conduitee car une décomposition de la substance à enregistrer s'est produite lors de l'étude de son point de fusion. Aucune donnée de point de fusion ne peut donc être fournie pour l'acétylacétonate de Cobalt III.
