Description of key information

Short-term toxicity to fish

The LC50 of the pure substance in a 96-h study on zebrafish was determined to be >500 mg/L.

Short-term toxicity to aquatic invertebrates

The 48-h acute toxicity test to Daphnia magna revealed a nominal EC0 value of 1000 mg/L and an EC100 and EC50 value of >1000 mg/L after 48 hours.

Toxicity to aquatic algae

The EC50 based on growth rate of green algae was determined to be >100 mg/L. Respectively, the 72-h EC10 and NOEC were determined to be 54.74 and 25 mg/L.

Toxicity to microorganisms

Under the conditions of the performed Activated Sludge Respiration Inhibition Test, the EC100 and EC50 values were determined to be above 1000 mg/L. Based on the statistical and biological evaluation in this test the NOEC was determined as 1000 mg/L.
