First-aid measures

General information:

Consult a doctor. Show this safety data sheet to the doctor treating you.

- Following inhalation: If inhaled, remove affected person to fresh air. In case of respiratory arrest, artificially ventilate. Consult a doctor.

- Following skin contact: Wash off with soap and plenty of water. Consult a doctor.

- Following eye contact: Rinse eyes with water as a precaution.

- Following ingestion: Do not give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Rinse out mouth with water. Consult a doctor

Indication of any immediate medical attention and special treatment needed: No data available

Fire-fighting measures

- Suitable extinguishing media: Water spray, alcohol-resistant foam, dry extinguishing agent or carbon dioxide.

- Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture: Carbon oxides, nitrogen oxides (NOx), phosphorus oxides. Combustible.

- Advice for fire fighter: In case of fire, wear respiratory protective equipment which is independent of ambient air if necessary.

Accidental release measures

- Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures:

Use personal protective equipment. Avoid dust formation. Vapours/Mist/Gas do not inhale. Avoid inhalation of dust.

For personal protective equipment see section "Exposure controls/Personal protection" of the SDS.

- Environmental precautions:

Do not discharge into drains

- Methods and material for containment and cleaning up:

Collect and store dust-free. Sweep together and scoop up. To place disposal in suitable and closed containers.

Handling and storage

- Precautions for safe handling:

Avoid dust and aerosol formation.

In case of dust formation, provide suitable ventilation.

Information on protective measures can be found in section 2.2 "Potential hazards" of the SDS.

- Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities:

Keep container tightly closed in a dry, well-ventilated place. Store in a cool place.

Recommended storage temperature 2 - 8 °C

Storage class (TRGS 510): 13: Non-combustible solids

- Specific end uses

Apart from the uses mentioned in section 1.2 "Relevant identified uses of the substance or mixture and uses that are not recommended" (laboratory chemicals, manufacture of substances), no other specific uses are foreseen.

Exposure controls / personal protection

- Parameters to be monitored components with limit values that require monitoring at the workplace:

Contains no substances with occupational exposure limits.

- Exposure controls and monitoring. Suitable technical control equipment:

The usual precautionary measures for handling chemicals must be observed. Before, wash your hands during breaks and at the end of work.

Personal protective equipment:

Eye/face protection:

For eye protection, only use equipment that complies with official standards, such as NIOSH (US) or EN 166 (EU), have been tested and approved.

Skin protection:

Work with gloves. Gloves must be examined before use. Use a suitable removal method (without touching the outer surface of the glove) to prevent skin contact with this product. Dispose of contaminated gloves after use in accordance with llegal requirements and good laboratory practice. Washing and Drying your hands. The selected protective gloves must meet the specifications of the EC Directive 2016/425 and the EN 374 standard derived from it.

Body protection

Select body protection according to its type, according to the concentration and quantity of the hazardous substances and according to the specific workplace. The type of protective equipment must be selected according to the concentration and quantity of the hazardous substance at the workplace.

Respiratory Protection

Respiratory protection is not required. Wherever protection against annoying concentrations is desired, a respiratory mask with filter type N95 (US) or type P1 (EN 143) must be used. Respiratory protection devices and components must be certified according to appropriate government standards (for example NIOSH (US) or CEN (EU)).

Environmental exposure monitoring

Do not discharge into drains.

Stability and reactivity

1. Reactivity: No data available.

2. Chemical stability: Stable under specified storage conditions

3. Possibility of hazardous reactions: No data available

4. Conditions to avoid: No data available

5. Incompatible materials: Strong oxidizing agents

6. Hazardous decomposition products: Other decomposition products - No data available

In case of fire, dangerous decomposition products may be formed. - Carbon oxides, nitrogen oxides (NOx), phosphorus oxides

In case of fire: see chapter 5 "Fire fighting measures" of the SDS.

Disposal considerations

- Waste treatment procedures:

Product: Eliminate residual quantities and non-recyclable solutions at an approved waste disposal company. These products must be dissolved in or mixed with a flammable solvent and incinerated in a chemical incinerator (with afterburner and exhaust air scrubber).

Contaminated packaging:

Dispose like unused product.
