STUDY DESIGN:
The test substance was instilled into the conjunctival sac of the right eye of each rabbit. The upper and lower lids were then gently hold together for about 1 second before releasing. The left eye remaind as untreated control.

In addition, the eye secretion was examined. At the 24 hour observation, 2/6 animals showed eye secretion, which is slight above normale secretion.
