Description of key information

In a 96 hour acute toxicity study according to OECD 203, zebrafish (Danio rerio) were exposed to the test item Phosphonic acid, P,P'-(1-hydroxyethylidene)bis-, compd. with 2-aminoethanol (1:?)  at nominal concentrations of 0 (control), and 240 mg/L under static conditions. The water pH, temperature and dissolved oxygen were within acceptable guideline specifications. The 96 hour LC50 was > 240 mg/L based on the nominal concentration of the test substance.

LC50: >240 mg/l corresponds to >120 mg/l a.i.
