Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The ready biodegradability of the test substance was assessed according to OECD Test Guideline 301 F, EEC Directive 92/69 and ISO Standard 9408 using the manometric respirometry test.  After 28 days there was 60 – 70 % biodegradation; after 36 days there was 70 – 80 % biodegradation. The 10-day window for ready biodegradability was not met. The test substance is therefore considered to be biodegradable, though not readily biodegradable according to OECD criteria.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Biodegradation in water:
readily biodegradable but failing 10-day window
