Approximately -20 °C under nitrogen in the dark
Key result
Sample tested:
test mixture as specified
Parameter:
other: Prediction
Remarks on result:
other: Predicted negative
Interpretation of results:
GHS criteria not met
Conclusions:
Based on the chemical structure of the test substance, the result for the oxidising properties has been predicted as negative.
Executive summary:

The oxidising properties of the test substance, Resin acids and Rosin acids, esters with trimethylolpropane, was determined via a procedure compatible with Method A.21 Oxidising Properties (Liquids) of Commission Regulation (EC) No 440/2008 of 30 May 2008. The structure of the test substance was assessed for chemical groups that imply oxidising properties in order to predict the oxidising properties. Based on the evaluation criteria, since there are no structural alerts within the structure, the oxidising properties have been predicted negative for the test substance.

Description of key information

The oxidising properties of Resin acids and Rosin acids, esters with trimethylolpropane was determined via a procedure compatible with Method A.21 Oxidising Properties (Liquids) of Commission Regulation (EC) No 440/2008 of 30 May 2008. The structure of the test substance was assessed for chemical groups that imply oxidising properties in order to predict the oxidising properties.

Based on the evaluation criteria, since there are no structural alerts within the structure, the oxidising properties have been predicted negative for the test substance.
