Description of key information

According to Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006, Annex VII, Section 7.12, Column 2, the study does not need to be conducted for solids, if preliminary results exclude self-heating of the substance up to 400 °C. Zinc ditetradecanoate starts to decompose at a temperature > 300 °C. In a DSC analysis up to 160 °C and a TGA up to 800 °C (section 4.2 Melting point und 4.3 Boiling point) was no self heating of zinc ditetradecanoate reported.
