For the range-finding test, the test solution was prepared by directly adding appropriate amounts of H6362 into dilution water (good quality tap water dechlorinated for at least 24hrs) and facilitating its dispersion by stirring for 30 min. Vortex height set to at least 10% of static liquid height. The test solution was reported as colourless and clear.

For the limit test, water accommodated fractions (WAFs) solutions were prepared by adding the test material (0.4165 ~ 0.4168g) to the test medium (4 L) in glass aspirator bottles, to a nominal concentration of 100 mg/L. The test solution was mixed for 24hrs then allowed to settle for 1 hr at room temperature. The aqueous portion (WAFs solution) was then removed through the outlet of the aspirator stirring bottle without further filtration.
