Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Conclusions:
The sample was characterized in terms of particle size by Single Particle Optical Sensing (SPOS) and the mean diameters at the 10%, 50% and 90% of the volume distribution are:
D10: 7,6 µm
D50: 16,2 µm
D90: 29,4 µm

with a mean value of 17.7 µm.
Executive summary:

About 10 mg exactly weighed of powder were suspended in 3 mL of a 0.1% Tween 20 aqueous solution, previously filtered by a 0.2 Pm membrane filter (VWR International, I). Samples were characterized in terms of particle size by Single Particle Optical Sensing (SPOS) using an Accusizer 770 (PSS Inc. USA). Particle size was expressed as undersize cumulative percentage of the volume distribution and the population dispersity was referred as span and calculated as reported in the following equation: span = (d90 − d10)/ d50
where d10, d50 and d90 represent the mean diameters at the 10%, 50% and 90% of the volume distribution, respectively.

The results are the following: D10: 7,6 µm; D50: 16,2 µm; D90: 29,4 µm; mean value of 17.7 µm.
