Description of key information
The surface tension of Hostacerin DGSB is 56.6 ± 1.1 mN/m at 90% of the saturation concentration and 20 °C.

The surface tension of the test item in aqueous solution was determined in a guideline study according to OECD guideline 115 applying the plate method.
The solubility of the test substance in water is less than 1 g/L. In accordance with the guideline and REACH guidance documents the measurement was therefore carried out at 90% of the saturation concentration.
The surface tension of Hostacerin DGSB is 56.6 ± 1.1 mN/m at 90% of the saturation concentration and 20 °C.
