Justification for classification or non-classification

Zinc peroxide is assigned to Class 5.1 (oxidising substances), packaging group II and the UN number 1516 according to the Recommendations on the TRANSPORT  OF DANGEROUS GOODS, 19th edition, United Nations, 2015. According to the Guidance on the Application of the CLP Criteria, Version 4.1, June 2015, Table 1.7.2—b Class 5.1, packaging group II of the transport classification corresponds to classification as Oxidising solid, Category 2.
