Take affected persons out into the fresh air.

Seek immediate medical advice.

- After inhalation :

In case of unconsciousness place patient stably in side position for transportation.

Provide oxygen treatment if affected person has difficulty breathing.

If not breathing, give artificial respiration, preferably mouth to mouth.

- After skin contact :

Immediately wash with water and soap and rinse thoroughly.

After contact with skin, wash immediately almost 15 minutes with plenty of water.

- After eye contact :

Rinse opened eye for several minutes under running water. Then consult a doctor.

Rinse opened eye for almost 15 minutes under running water.

- After swallowing :

Call for a doctor immediately.

Rinse mouth out with water.

- Emergency equipment :

Provide wash facilities for eyes and skin near work area.

Fire-fighting measures

* Extinguishing media :

- Suitable extinguishing agents :

Carbon dioxide, dry chemicals, foam, water spray (mist).

Use fire extinguishing methods suitable to surrounding conditions.

- Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture :

High temperatures may liberate toxic or corrosive gases. Do not breathe smoke or vapours.

* Protective equipment :

Wear self-contained respiratory protective device.

Wear fully protective suit.

Use self contained breathing apparatus.

Accidental release measures

- Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures :

Wear protective clothing.

- Environmental precautions :

Prevent from spreading (e.g. by damming-in or oil barriers).

Do not allow to enter sewers/ surface or ground water.

- Methods and material for containment and cleaning up :

Take up small spills with dry chemical absorbent.

Large spills may be taken up with pump or vacuum and finished off with dry chemical absorbent.

Residue may be washed down with water.

Ensure adequate ventilation.

Handling and storage

* Handling :

- Precautions for safe handling :

Handle in accordance with good industrial hygiene and safety procedures.

Avoid contact with skin.

Avoid contact with eyes.

When using do not eat or drink.

- Information about fire - and explosion protection : No special measures required.

* Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities :

- Requirements to be met by storerooms and receptacles :

Store in dry, cool, well-ventilated area.

Mechanical ventilation is recommended.

Exposure controls / personal protection

- General protective and hygienic measures :

The usual precautionary measures are to be adhered to when handling chemicals.

Keep away from foodstuffs, beverages and feed.

Immediately remove all soiled and contaminated clothing.

Wash hands before breaks and at the end of work.

Avoid contact with the eyes and skin.

- Respiratory protection :

In case of brief exposure or low pollution use respiratory filter device. In case of intensive or longer exposure use self-contained respiratory protective device.

- Protection of hands :

Protective gloves

The glove material has to be impermeable and resistant to the product/ the substance/ the preparation.

Due to missing tests no recommendation to the glove material can be given for the product/ the preparation/ the chemical mixture.

Selection of the glove material on consideration of the penetration times, rates of diffusion and the degradation.

- Material of gloves :

The selection of the suitable gloves does not only depend on the material, but also on further marks of quality and varies from manufacturer to manufacturer.

- Penetration time of glove material

The exact break trough time has to be found out by the manufacturer of the protective gloves and has to be

- Eye protection :

Tightly sealed goggles.

- Body protection : Use protective suit.

Stability and reactivity

- Chemical stability :

- Thermal decomposition / conditions to be avoided : Stable under normal conditions of use.

- Possibility of hazardous reactions : no dangerous reactions known.

- Incompatible materials :

Avoid contact with metals.

Reacts with oxidizing agents.

Reacts with strong alkali.

- Hazardous decomposition products :

Carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide.

Halogenated compounds.

Disposal considerations

* Waste treatment methods :

- Recommendation :

Must not be disposed together with household garbage. Do not allow product to reach sewage system.

* Uncleaned packaging :

- Recommendation : Disposal must be made according to official regulations.
