Justification for classification or not classification

In order to asses the toxicity of Dilasoft TF in aquatic compartment, data on its behaviuor in freshwater was taken into account. The substance resulted to be inherently biodegradable, however in order to achieve a conclusion on classification, a worst case scenario was considered and therefore the substance is considered to be as not readily biodegradable.

Studies carried out on on the three representatives taxonomic groups (algae, crustaceans and fish) of three throfic levels, show a slight toxic effect on all tested species and therefore the test substance is classified as Aquatic Chronic 3, according to the CLP Regulation (EC 1272/2008).
