Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
The study was conducted under GLP according to European Commission TG Document EUR 20268 on the registered substance itself. The method is to be considered scientifically reasonable with no deficiencies in documentation or any deviations and therefore reliability of Klimisch 1 has been assigned. The substance consists of 98.7% inhalable fractions (<100 µm), 1.63% thoracic fractions (<10 µm) and 0.4% respirable fractions (< 5.5 µm)
Executive summary:

Particle size data was acquired, using a procedure designed to be compatible with the European Commission TG Document EUR 20268 Determination of Particle Size Distribution, Fibre Length and Diameter Distribution of Chemical Substances (GLP). The substance consists of 98.7% inhalable fractions (<100 µm), 1.63% thoracic fractions (<10 µm) and 0.4% respirable fractions (< 5.5 µm).
