Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

The water solubility of trimanganese bis(orthophosphate) was determined using the flask method (loadings of test item of 26.644 mg/L and 26.352 mg/L in vessel 1 and 2, respectively) acoording to OECD 105 and EU method A.6 (Klawonn & Knopf, 2018). The mean amount of dissolved test item according to the measured manganese after day 36 – 38 was 13.9 ± 0.85 for vessel 1 and 13.8 ± 0.43 mg/L for vessel 2 (mean 13.8   ± 0.64 mg/L).

In further studies, the water solubility of trimanganese bis(orthophosphate) and hureaulite was determined using the flask method acoording to OECD 105 and EU method A.6 (Klawonn & Knopf, 2018). The mean amount of dissolved test item (trimanganese bis(orthophosphate) and hureaulite) according to measured manganese were 12.1 ± 1.12 mg/L and 9.85 ± 0.54 mg/L.

The water solubility of trimanganese bis(orthophosphate) was determined using the flask method in a study conducted according to EU Method A.6 under GLP conditions (Butler and O'Connor, 2010). The water solubility of the test material was determined to be 9.31 mg/L at 20.0 ± 0.5 °C in un-buffered glass double-distilled water, resulting in sample solution pH’s of approximately 7.1 to 7.6.
