Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Average relative density D420: 1.0086 ± 0.0013

In order to check if the test substance dissolved in the immersion fluid, the density of the immersion fluid was checked before and after the determination with an oscillating densitometer. No significant change was observed, hence no dissolution of the test item occurred.

Description of key information

Relative density: 1.0086 at 20 °C (OECD 109, pycnometer method)

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Relative density at 20C:
1.009

Additional information

The relative density of the test substance 2,2-bis(hydroxymethyl)propane-1,3-diyl didocosanoate (CAS: 68258-72-0) was determined according to OECD guideline 109.
