Justification for type of information:
JUSTIFICATION FOR DATA WAIVING
According to REACH Regulation (Annex VII, 7.12, column II) the study on autoignition/self-ignition temperature does not need to be conducted if the substance is explosive or ignites spontaneously with air at room temperature or for solids, if the substance has a melting point ≤ 160°C. The melting point of tetracene was determined to be in the range from 140 to 160°C and it possesses explosive properties. Therefore testing on this endpoint is not necessary.
