Partition coefficient
Key result
Type:
log Pow
Partition coefficient:
< 0.3
Temp.:
23 °C
pH:
6
Remarks on result:
other: pH value of the water used for the preperation of the eluent

Any other information on results incl. tables

Result:

As the retention time of the test item peak was below the one

of 2-butanone (log Pow = 0.3), the log Pow is estimated to be < 0.3.

Solubility in n-octanol

Additionally the solubility of the test item in n-octanol was visually

tested. The test item is miscible at room temperature

(23 °C) and at T = 20.0 °C ± 0.5 °C with n-octanol in any ratio.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
As the retention time of the test item peak was below the one
of 2-butanone (log Pow = 0.3), the log Pow is estimated to be
< 0.3.
