Description of key information

The bioconcentration factor (BCF) was estimated by two QSAR models:
- BCFBAF v3.01 module of EPI Suite (v4.0) - Regression-based estimate
BCF = 360.5 L/kg wet-wt
- BCF-BAF v3.01 module of EPI Suite (v4.0) (including biotransformation) - Arnot-Gobas: BCF = 1075 L/kg wet-wt (lower trophic),
BCF = 1155 L/kg wet-wt (middle trophic), BCF = 1339 L/kg wet-wt (upper trophic), The estimated fish BCF of delta-3-carene is 1339 L/kg (more conservative result of the two QSAR models).

Key value for chemical safety assessment

BCF (aquatic species):
1 339 L/kg ww
