First-aid measures

Remove patient from the vicinity. Material is non-hazardous and indeed used in several medical applications; treat symptomatically.

Fire-fighting measures

Material is non-flammable. Any type of fire extinguishe may be used.
Toxic fumes (including HF and CO) are likely to be produced if this material is in contact with open flames or very hot surfaces; self-contained breathing apparatus and full protective clothing should be worn when tackling fire.

Accidental release measures

Absorb in vermiculite, dry sand or earth and place into containers.

Handling and storage

Can be stored indefinitely in original container, if tightly sealed.
