Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

The vapour pressure of the substance was calculated by the MPBPWIN v1.43 (EPISuite v 4.11), a model used to estimate the melting, boiling point and vapour pressure of organic compounds. The vapour pressure of the substance was estimated by using the Antoine Method, Modified Grain Method and Mackay Method. Selected vapour pressure: 0.106 Pa (Modified Grain Method).

The vapour pressure of Similar Substance 01 was predicted as 0.935 Pa (Mean of Antoine& Grain methods) by using the experimental boiling point of 275 °C and melting point of 0 °C (as the substance is also a liquid). The experimental vapour pressure of Similar substance 01 was found to be lower than 2.50 x 10-4 Pa. The experimental value is quite different than the predicted value. The predicted value of the substance is lower than the predicted value of the similar substance; the actual vapour pressure of the substance could therefore be lower than the one predicted. For this reason, as a precautionary approach, the experimental vapour pressure of the similar substance is at least adopted for the substance.
