The determination of the saturation concentration of AFLAMMIT®PCO 962 in n-octanol at approximately 20°°C was performed during this study. The determination of the solubility was performed according to SOP 13.12.1 that is based on the method CIPAC MT 181.

An additional test using high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) with refractive index (RI) detector was performed to determine the content of the active ingredient in the saturated solution in
n-octanol, i. e. the solubility of the test item in n-octanol.

 

The solubility of AFLAMMIT®PCO 962 in n-octanol was found to be < 10 g/l in the preliminary test.

 

In the additional test the solubility of AFLAMMIT®PCO 962 in n-octanol was determined to be
493 mg/l at approximately 20°C.

Conclusions:
The solubility of AFLAMMIT®PCO 962 in n-octanol was determined to be 493 mg/l at approximately 20°C.
