Additional information

One study investigating the short-term toxicity of Reaction products resulting from esterification of sucrose with saturated C16-18 (even numbered) fatty acids to aquatic invertebrates is available. The study was performed according to GLP and OECD guideline 202 using Daphnia magna as test organism (Turek 2017). Due to the low water solubility of the substance a 100 mg/L loading rate WAF was tested (84.1% active ingredient). During exposure, no immobilization of Daphnia magna was observed in the control and in the treatment. Thus, the 48h-EL50 is determined to be > 84.1 mg a.i./L loading rate WAF.
