Executive summary:

Even though the DTA experiment is not in accordance with the EU method description for thermal stability, it does show that the substance will no be stable as of an external temperature of 80°C. As such, the substance (in its dried form and diluted 1/1 with NaCl) is considered thermally unstable and is to be classified as an unstable explosive. The fall hammer experiment furthermore shows that the diazonium salt (in its tested form) is sensitive to mechanical impact.
