Details on results:
Three volume ratios (water / n-octanol) have been tested using two replicates for each volume ratio. From data of each run, a partition coefficient was calculated. The six log Pow values were determined within a range of +/- 0.3 log units. As the differences between the three volume ratios was less than the given +/- 0.3 log units, the study was considered to be valid.
Conclusions:
The log Pow value of Reactive Yellow 95 (meta) was determined to be < -3.49 using the shake flask method at 20°C.
