Results and discussion

Relative self-ignition temperature (solids)
Key result
Remarks on result:
no self ignition observed under the test conditions
Remarks:
(up to 400°C)

Any other information on results incl. tables

At the start of the test, the test item was a crystalline green agglomerated powder. At the end of the test, the cube was full of pale green solid.

No self-ignition temperature of the test item was observed up to 400°C (corrected value).

The temperature of the test item sample followed the temperature of the oven up to the highest oven temperature reached (400°C, corrected value).

Similar observations were made in the two assays.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
The self-ignition temperature of praseodymium trichloride (heptahydrate form) was investigated according to the EU A.16 method in compliance with GLP. No self-ignition temperature was observed up to 400°C (corrected value). The temperature of the test item sample followed the temperature of the oven.
