- According to REACH regulation, Column 2 of the Annex IX: Long-term toxicity testing was not proposed because the chemical safety assessment does not indicate the need to investigate further the effects on aquatic organisms. No adverse effect was observed based on 3 acute aquatic tests performed with the registered substance and the substance is soluble in water (674 g/l). According to ECHA guide R7B (R. 7.8-4 p.53) if no adverse effect was observed based on standard testing data on short term toxicity for 3 trophic levels and the substance is not classified for the environment or PBT, no further test is needed.
