Executive summary:

This endpoint assessment was used to determine the explosive properties of PPG-2 myristic ether propionate. This was achieved by using a screening procedure which assesses the potential for

explosive behaviour of PPG-2 myristic ether propionate in accordance with section 2.1.4.2 of the CLP regulation (EC 1272/2008). The assessment was made with reference to the structural motifs that are

listed in Table A6.1 in Appendix 6 of the UN Recommendations on the Transport of Dangerous Goods, Manual of Tests and Criteria as being indicative of explosive behaviour in organic materials. According

to the structural assessment carried out on PPG-2 myristic ether propionate, this substance is not expected to possess explosive properties.
