Heptafluoro-2 -iodopropane has no structural alerts for pyrophoric properties. The comparison with the example substances listed in the “Guidance on information requirements and chemical safety assessment, Chapter R.7a, p.122”, which are known to be flammable on contact with water, indicates that Heptafluoro-2-iodopropane is highly unlikely to display this property.
