Description of key information

PHOTODEGRADATION

Direct photolysis in air, water and soil

The registration substance do not absorb light at >290 nm so that direct photolysis is unlikely to occur.

Indirect photolysis in air, water and soil

Primary degradation by OH radical induced indirect photolysis may occur. The property estimation program US EPA AOPWIN estimates a Half-life of 2.3h for the registration substance.

HYDROLYSIS

The registration substance has no functional groups which could be hydrolyzed under environmental conditions as stated in OECD111. In addition the substance is readily biodegradable. Therefore no further studies on hydrolysis are warranted.
