Additional information

Some of the physicochemical properties of the substance were estimated by the models in EpiSuite v.4.4 based on Similar Substance 03. Experimental results on the target substance were used for the evaluation of auto-flammability, flash point, melting and boiling point.

The substance is a colourless liquid (APHA 10) at 20 °C and 1013 hPa. The melting point and the boiling point were determined as < -70 °C and 353.64 °C respectively. The density is 0.94 kg/dm3at 25.0 °C and the vapour pressure was predicted to be negligible (0.00000000831 Pa, at 25 °C). The surface tension is not a desired property of the substance, nor expected, moreover the substance is considered as non-explosive, non-flammable nor oxidising. Its logPow was calculated to be equal to 12.77 which means that it has a greater affinity for the organic phase. The substance is not soluble in water (4.717E-9 mg/l, 25 °C) and it has an auto-ignition temperature of 330.7 °C.
