Description of key information

The test item has a low volatility (0.00125 Pa at 20°C) and should therefore not be released into air.

The test item is not readily biodegradable, not bioaccumulating (log Pow 4.5), and slightly soluble in water (WS: 16 mg/L). Based on physicochemical properties (log Pow = 1.98 at pH 7), the substance can be expected to have a low potential for adsorption. According to the regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 (REACH), Annex XI, section 2, hydrolysis testing, required in section 9.2.2.1, does not need to be conducted as the study is technically not feasible as the substance does not contain any functional groups that are susceptible to hydrolysis.
