Additional information

The test substance is a white crystalline solid with a melting point of 32.57 °C at 101.325 kPa. The boiling point was determined to be 187 °C and the relative density was 1.49 at 20 °C. The vapour pressure was estimated to be 0.04 kPa at 25 °C and the log P was determined to be 1.28 at 25 °C. The water solubility was determined to be 17000 mg/L at 25 °C and the surface tension of aqueous solution at 25 °C was determined to be 71.0 mN/m at a concentration of 0.1%. The test substance is considered to be stable at storage conditions. The auto flammability temperature was 445 °C and the flash point was 84 °C. The test substance does not propagate combustion, does not evolve highly flammable gases on contact with water, does not spontaneously ignite on contact with air at ambient temperatures and is not a self-reactive substance. There are no chemical groups associated with explosive and oxidising properties in the molecule. Classification of the test substance is not needed according to the Directive 67/584/EEC and according to the EU Classification, Labelling and Packaging of Substances and Mixtures (CLP) Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008.
