Log Pow= >4 at 20°C

The individual logPow values with different water solubilities are as follows:

- Log Pow = >6.1 with a water solubility of <0.2 mg/L via Cr content

- Log Pow= >4.4 with a water solubility of 11.4 mg/L via N content

Additional information

Due to the fact that the test item is a mixture of different components and of the differences in the sobulity of the test item in water (see endpoint 4.8) and in n-octanol the determination of the log Pow corresponding to the OECD Guideline 107 (shake flask method) is not feasible.

Because the test item cannot be chromatographed under the prescribed conditions the HPLC-method (OECD Guideline 117) is also not feasible.

Due to this, the log Pow can only be estimated from the single solubilities of the test item in water and in n-octanol.

The solubility in n-Octanol was carried out by flask method according to OECD Guideline 105 and quantified by UV/VIS spectrophotometer. The log Pow values depend on the elements analyzed, method applied and the loading rate of water solubilities.
