Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets

Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

The test was performed at an atmospheric pressure of 1006 mBar - 1020 mBar.

Description of key information

The auto-ignition-temperature of the test item is 340 °C (BASF SE, 17 -0070, 2017).

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Autoflammability / Self-ignition temperature at 101 325 Pa:
340 °C

Additional information

The auto-ignition temperature of the test substance was investigated under GLP conditions according to guideline DIN EN 14522 and to EU Method A.15 . Four test runs at an atmospheric pressure of 1006 mBar - 1020 mBar were conducted. From these test runs a corrected (correction performed according to EN 14522) auto-ignition-temperature of 340 °C resulted. This result is supported by a value of 350 °C as cited in Hommel (2012).
