Description of key information

PHOTODEGRADATION

Direct photolysis in air, water and soil

The UV Spectrum of the registration substance absorbs at >290 nm so that direct photolysis may occur.

Indirect photolysis in air, water and soil

Primary degradation by OH radical induced indirect photolysis may occur. The property estimation program US EPA AOPWIN estimates a Half-life of 0.2h for the registration substance.

HYDROLYSIS

The hydrolysis of the registartion substance has been investigated in a preliminary test according to OECD111 over 5d at 50°C at pH4, pH7 and pH9. The half life resulted in > 1 year. Based on this result no further studies on hydrolysis are warranted.
