Conclusions:
The EC50 for inhibition of respiration of bacteria is > 1000 mg/L, the NOEC is 320 mg/L
Executive summary:

In a study according to OECD 209, sludge was exposed to the substance during 3 hours at 100, 320 and 1000 mg/L. At 1000 mg/L a slight inhibition of the respiration was observed (max ca 8%), while at both other concentrations no effect was seen. Therefore it is concluded that the NOEC is 320 mg/L and the EC50 is >1000 mg/L.

Description of key information

In a study according to OECD 209, sludge was exposed to the substance during 3 hours at 100, 320 and 1000 mg/L.
