Using the results of Experiment 1 and Experiment 2, the curve of log PT of the test item as function of the reciprocal temperature had a coefficient of correlation <0.99. Therefore, a third experiment was performed. Coefficient of correlation using the results of Experiment 1 and Experiment 3 was <0.99. Coefficient of correlation using the results of Experiment 2 and Experiment 3 was <0.99. Since the test item is a mixture (UVCB), it was decided to report a range for the vapour pressure using the plot of the log PT of the test item as function of the reciprocal temperatures for each individual experiment.

Experiment 1:  log PT= -1913 x1/T + 6.14 (r = 0.998, n = 3).

Experiment 2:  log PT= -1589 x 1/T + 5.26 (r = 0.9995, n = 3).

Experiment 3:  log PT= -2875 x 1/T + 8.27 (r = 0.9999, n = 3).

Plots: see attached background material.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
The vapour pressure of the substance at 20°C was determined to be in the range from 2.9E-2 to 0.69 Pa.
The vapour pressure of the substance at 25°C was determined to be in the range from 4.3E-2 to 0.85 Pa.
Executive summary:

The vapour pressure of the substance was determined using the isothermal thermogravimetric effusion method in a GLP study according to EC A.4, OECD 104 and OPPTS 830.7950.

From the measured weight losses in the temperature range 160 -180°C, the vapour pressure of the substance was determined. Three experiments were performed. Because of the relatively large differences between the results, the vapour pressure of the substance was determined from each of the three vapour pressure regression curves. The vapour pressure of the substance was reported as a range. The vapour pressure of the substance at 20°C was determined to be in the range from 2.9E-2 to 0.69 Pa. The vapour pressure of the substance at 25°C was determined to be in the range from 4.3E-2 to 0.85 Pa.
