Description of key information
According to the REACH Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006, Annex VII, 9.1.2, a toxicity study to aquatic algae does not need to be conducted as a study for an equivalent endpoint (see section 6.1.6) is available. According to Guidance to Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 on CLP of substances and mixtures (Version 4.1, June 2015), the duckweed Lemna may also be considered to determine toxicity to aquatic plants.
