Executive summary:

The test was performed as stipulated in EC Test Procedure A.16 'Relative self-ignition temperature for solids'. A certain volume (4.9 g) of the test item was placed in an oven at room temperature; the temperature/time curve relating to conditions in the centre of the sample was recorded while the temperature of the oven was increased to 435 °C at a rate of 0.5 K/min. For the purpose of this test, the temperature of the oven at which the sample temperature reached 400 °C by self-heating is called the self-ignition temperature.

The sample showed endothermic reaction starting at about 80 °C. No safety-relevant exothermic reactions were detected.
